New Era understands that today, the greatest risk that students face is on the road. The school takes active measures in keeping the students safe while they move to and fro from school.

• We take effective steps towards training the bus drivers to prevent unsafe behaviours and keep the children safe

• Bus cards are provided to each student to identify the number of students in each bus. It helps us with maintaining the head counts

• Also, the educators at New Era are not just at school to foster the kids but also they understand the responsibility of being the second parents and hence they remain in the bus from the very first step till the last.

Transport Rules

• The school makes transport arrangements for the children through its own fleet of buses subjected to request from parents.
• Parents are expected to co-operate with the school by ensuring timely reporting at their stops and carry their identity cards with them all the time.
• In case of any problem, the parents are advised to contact the school authorities on the phone number given on the bus.
• Parents are expected not to rely on any information that they get from drivers or conductors
• Students are not allowed to travel in any other bus route except their own route.
• The bus drivers are authorized to stop at designated stops only. The bus will not wait for latecomers.
• The use of bus facility cannot be discontinued in the middle of the academic session.
• Application for a request for a change in transport in case of transfer, change in address should be submitted to the administrative office at least 15 days prior to the beginning of next month.
• Any change in transport will be effective from the next month of submission of the request.
• Application for availing transport facility should be submitted to the administrative office at least 15 days prior to the beginning of next month.
• Full month fee will be taken for availing transport in the middle of the month.
