Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL’S)

ATL under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) is a flagship initiative set up by NITI Aayog to promote innovation & entrepreneurship across the country. With this objective, AIM is setting up state-of-the-art ATLs in schools across India.

We feel proud to share with you that our school was selected to set up Atal Tinkering Lab and is among the first few schools selected in the district. ATL at NES was inaugurated on April 2nd, 2018 to promote entrepreneurship & innovation among students from an early age.

These ATLs are dedicated workspaces of 1200-1500 sq. ft. where do-it-yourself (DIY) kits on latest technologies like 3D printers, robotics, internet of things (IOT) and miniaturized electronics are installed. ATLs enable young minds to shape their ideas through hands-on DIY mode and learn innovation skills and better understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. The objective is to foster curiosity, creativity & imagination in young minds.
